Nice layout, the home owners will love it.

Can the fridge cabinet be made a little deeper so you don't have the exposed countertop edge? Looks like you have enough space on the pantry wall.

Yes I think I will make fridge cabinet 27". Also found out today columns and bookcases are out..

Personally I would be happy. Fitting a column to a ceiling can be a PITA.
