xx Assumed construction methods

I have surmised the box construction takes into account a 1/4 dado on each side for the top and bottom of the cabinet. I am accustom to this. But the drawer construction I'm not sure of the construction used with the diminutions that are given. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The default drawer settings are for dadoing the front and back into the sides. The program can be set up for other methods such as butt joints if needed.

What type of drawers are you going to use?

I have been using blind dovetails and dado in back. So I can adjust the drawer dimensions in the 'set standards' section. Is that correct?

The standards are in the "drawer standards" window.

The "rabet depth for sides" would be the setting you would want for dovetails or dados but there is only one setting for the front and back.

So if I set the depth for zero then CP will calculate for butt joints attaching sides to front and back?

I am assuming the pullout calculations are dependent on the drawer standards and if so I can make changes in the pullout standards?

No, the pullouts are not affected by the drawer standards other than they use the material type and thickness specified for the drawer sides.
