xx help with doors
« Thread started on: Jun 23rd, 2017, 2:24pm »

I have a door opening that is 18 wide x 20 tall when I print out the parts sheet it shows the door rails at 15.75 rails. stiles are 2.375 wide with a .375 long tenon plus it shows a flat panel of 14.75 x 16.75 that panel would be too small for a 15.75 wide rail. I have door standards set for 2.375 widths on stiles and rails and the .375 tenon length.
When you do the math by hand the rails should be 15" for a .5 overlay. What do I have setup wrong?

For most cases you want to leave the "tenon length" at zero and set the "stile & rail cutter" to .375

The tenon length setting is added to the rail length without adding to the panel width.

The stile & rail cutter setting will also adjust the panel with.
