I am going to try something new this week
a water base lacquer Ill has made it a law to use it and we may be next so we will see if it holds up to solvent base

Do you have to change equip? I was wondering about water based products in some pumps and spray guns. Does anyone have any insight on that end of the water based products equation?

from what they are telling me we only need noncorosove gun and pick up tube
it can be run through HVLP, conventional guns, cupguns, or airless. guess that covers it all

They stopped allowing painters to use solovent based lacquers/paints in the field here in Ohio about a year ago. They still allow it in the cabinet shops with spray booths. Are they taking that away from you guys too?
