Hi there all I am wondering if the stretchers ( I assume stretchers are the ply pieces connecting the top of the cabinet box in the same direction as the bottom) need dato's in the same direction as the bottom dato ? if not how does the CP make them ?

Stretchers can either go into dados or just butt against the side of the cabinet. The program makes their length the same as the bottom so if you have it setup for dadoing the bottoms you will also need to dado the stretchers.
