Multiple standards

I've added multiple standards with this special update. You will be able to create 4 different sets of standards to choose from. Each of the standards windows has 4 radio buttons to select the set you want to use and a text box to enter a name for it. Everything except for the selected printer and your company name is stored with each set.

When you first run this update it will take your current standards and put them in each of the 4 selections to get you started. After that you will be able to adjust each one individually. You will need to save each one and then re-open the standard window and select another to apply.

You can have one setup for frameless, one for framed, one for metric, etc..

Rob will the price page have four sets of standards? I hope so. I would use this option for oak,cherry,birch,maple prices. Thanks Jim

Is it possible to somehow fix the issues with switching to metric?
Wont calculate door square footage.
Scale is way off when trying to draw walls
Elevation view is sometimes viewed in a lttle too close (cant read dims above wall) or sometimes it is zoomed too far out all depending upon how long the wall is.
Im sure there are a few other glitches that I just havnt found as well.

I tried the special update for multiple standards and there is no change to my program. Can't figure it out.

Well crud, looks like I didn't put the right file in the download. That will teach me to put it together right before leaving for Christmas vacation. I will fix it Tuesday when I'm back home.

It wont calculate the square footage for any door style when I draw in metric. When I originally set up the program I chose English measurements. I have now switched to the metric system and since I cant re-install in metric mode their are some issues. These issues may still be there even if it was re-installed.
I design in millimeters. So I assume the program is still calculating correctly, except I am getting a square millimeter measurement for the door square footage.
This screws up the reading when I hit "calc" then "master door size list" and it also screws up the pricing. I guess I could enter a price per sq.mm but the lack of decimals would make for a very inaccurate cost.

Oh ok, it is calculating the materials but the output needs to be corrected. That should be pretty easy.

That's what the multiple settings is for.
It’s not possible to switch sizes back and forth between metric and imperial. There would be a gradual loss of accuracy. You need to plan your cabinets in one or the other.

I dont mean switch back and forth for construction purposes, I mean switch back and forth for display purposes.
Example, you choose metric as your default units. You set all your standards for metric, but have a toggle to display the dimensions on screen as imperial.
You could then do your full design in metric, then hit the button and see how wide the cabinets, etc are in imperial.
I realize its a tonne of work to modify all the code to output this, but when you work in metric, people always want to know the dimensions in imperial and prices from our suppliers are always imperial as well (sq foot, linear foot, etc)
