xx Dados on top of cabinet sides
« Thread started on: May 10th, 2011, 4:56pm »

The dados on the top of my cabinet sides are not cutting correctly.

What is happening, it is cutting the dado and when I cut the profile of the side it is going past the dado about 1/8"
leaving an extra raised part on top of the cabinet side.
please help if you can.

I'd like to offer a suggestion but I'm not sure what you mean.

When you say "it is cutting the dado..." what do mean by "it"?

If you could clarify further maybe we can help or it might just be me that doesn't understand....

You can try increasing the "Dado extension" in the DXF settings window. You need to make sure you have enough space between your parts, this would be the 'Kerf' setting in the window that opens when the panel optimizer is run.
