xx evenly spaced between light switches
« Thread started on: Nov 15th, 2009, 3:50pm »

sometimes i need to get tall cabinets evenly spaced between two points (ex. light switches, outlets) i couldn't find these in the program i used a rossette and made them the same size as the switches and placed them properly on the elevation page. this gave me something to look at on the drawing plus the confidence i needed that the cab. was where it was supposed to be.

Good trick. I will start using that on future drawings. You could also use that to locate where clients want their electrical boxes and pass on that info. to the electrician. Something that is often miscommunicated and consequently they can be put in the wrong spot.
